Community Resilience in Times of Collapse

An Indigenous-led course helping communities build power and strength in times of crisis

Join Dr. Lyla June Johnston and guest teachers as we explore building community resilience in times of global collapse. We will explore collapse as a gift and opportunity for evolution, rather than a curse. By focusing on decentralizing and localizing community resources in our own communities, we will help participants to remember and reclaim the ways that they hold the power, individually and collectively, to control our responses and reactions to the polycrises we face. Join the growing ReHuman community, as we share Indigenous perspectives, build international relationships, empower food sovereignty, dive into resource-sharing, and boost hope and faith that defies borders.

In this course, we will: 

• Gather expert advice from community leaders for navigating today’s unique polycrises
• Ground your efforts in Indigenous regenerative principles and lessons
• Explore how we can individually and collectively decentralize resources for community-based sovereignty 
• Gain tangible steps for starting or supporting resource-sharing models in your hometown (tool libraries, community gardens, childcare services, and more)
• Connect in a safe international community that builds solidarity across borders and fosters timely relationship building

• Classes will take place via Zoom on Sundays, September 13, 20, & 27

• Classes take place 9-11am Pacific Time (time zone converter)

• Recordings are available for days you miss!

• Recordings, resources, and access to our international Community are all available after registration

Pay what you can

This course is available to all on a sliding scale basis from $1 - ∞. We suggest a $15-$30 donation for this course, but no one is turned away for lack of funds! 100% of net proceeds from ReHuman tuition is invested in Indigenous led ecological restoration projects, with over $37,000 given to date.
